If you are lucky enough to live in a country that is cold enough at the moment , then embrace the major trend that is SHEARLING , otherwise known as sheepskin( although that doesn't sound very nice). This trend is massive both on the catwalk and on the streets and you can wear it in so many ways. Gone are the chunky coats of the past and in their place have come beautiful soft alternatives in every shape, accessory and colour.
Personally I love a shearling coat or a biker with shearling lining and I like the more polished versions. I must warn you the real thing does not come cheap, but invest in a classic shape that will look on point now but will also last you forever.Also vintage finds are always great and for more retro styles raid a second hand shop , you never know ( although you will need to have it dry cleaned as they tend to smell a bit and will no doubt be dirty if they have been around for a while.
