The Faux Fur Coat

I remember buying a faux fur jacket when I was at university from Primark and I got it to wear to a new years eve glamorous party over my silky Coast strapless dress and I'm pretty sure I wore long gloves as well! The point is that it was for a special occasion and I don't think I ever wore it again as it was considered too over the top for normal wear. How things have change! The Faux Fur jacket has become a wardrobe staple the last few seasons and I absolutely love them and wear them with pretty much everything. This season in particular is so much fun , because you can really play around with colour and shape which is great as most of the time in Winter the focus is on your outerwear. The one I am wearing here is from Pull and Bear but I have also included some of my other favourites. This jacket is in the colour of the season, burgundy or oxblood as some call it and I really was drawn to the cropped shape of it. Needless to say it is so warm and snugly I never want to take it off!

The Bomber

Today I want to share a little gem with you. I recently ordered a oriental print little bomber ( was feeling a bit daring ) from Zaful but to be honest I wasn't expecting much.I thought it would be pretty but quite flimsy and was planning to wear it as sort of an evening cover up. Well , I have to see I was so impressed when it arrived. The fabric is a sort of stiff satin and the print is stunning. The sleeves have a concealed pockets with a cool zipper and it fastens with gold poppers. The best thing though for me , because I hate being cold is that it is padded which means that it is perfect for milder winter days , but I will also be layering it under gillets and coats.Considering the price  ( about $37) I would say that the quality is amazing and it has become my favourite thing in my wardrobe.

Beautiful Winter Warmers

Today I have made a little Zaful wishlist with some lovely cosy items for the cold months . I don't know about you but I sometimes tend to get a bit lazy with chilly weather outfits and tend to go for the warmest things without putting much thought into the look. However, it is possible to look great and stylish and also stay snug at the same time and I am determined not to fall into the same rut of dark colours and shapeless layers when the temperature drops.
So here are a few of my favourite picks that are also super affordable. In Fact all the items in total come to under $100!

Zaful Patchwork Sweater  here

This sweater is so great, the colours are quite neutral and will go with everything and the pop of muted red is great nod to the new season colour of the moment. Of course , the thing that sell s it for me are the cute fluted  sleeves .

Stay warm and pretty

Nothing says fall quite like nice knitwear and ZAFUL has the most beautiful and affordable selection. I was a bit spoilt for choice as far as colours and design are concerned as the they are so many to choose from. Also I must confess, I was a bit apprehensive as with knitwear the feel of the fabric is very important and obviously is is difficult to gauge when browsing online. I opted for the one of the colours of the season, blush pink, which is with  unusual for me and I have to say I was very pleased when it arrived. The colour is just like in the picture and the sweater itself is very soft and warm and the perfect length for trying the tucked in look. Also it has an oversized feel about it without swamping me , which is usually the case as I am quite small in the shoulders and I have difficulty with oversized styles. There is also a nice criss cross detail to the back which adds a fashion element to it. I love it so much I have already ordered a oxblood and grey one.
