We are now in the heart of Summer and a green bikini is actually the perfect way to set of your tan.
You can go for a tropical vibrant print or a minimalist khaki, olive version which in my opinion is always very flattering and looks sophisticated in the same way black and white does.

I love the print on this green bikini as it is vibrant but in a toned down way and I especially like the cut of the top . After all the lacing, cut outs , straps etc, it is nice to have a simple silhouette and this particular one is comfortable but quite supportive.

The Floral Bikini Set

We all know that floral is a major trend this season, so what better way to adopt the trend than a beautiful floral bikini set .I have already bought a blue bikini which is a staple colour for me every Summer as well as a white one as they seem like the perfect colours for Greece especially the islands.
So I have turned my eye to a floral number which is novel for me as I normally don't opt for prints. However, after spotting some girls in floral bikinis it got me thinking that it would be quite nice to make a break from my normal staples. Also my misconceptions of them being a bit childish or mumsy, were quickly dispelled when I saw the great cuts that are super sophisticated .

This is one of my favourites as it has a retro feel and the cut is very flattering and on trend.Also at just over $20 dollars it is definitely value for money and is a swimsuit set that I think would certainly get plenty of wear. Just add a big straw hat  some black sunglasses and a cocktail....

The print on this bikini is so dainty and the colour combination is great .This is a bikini for the more trend driven girl as it literally covers everything..off the shoulder, lace up, brazilian bottoms....and at under $15  it is too good to be true.

I mentioned earlier the blue bikini  and I could not finish this post without sharing some styles that I like. For me blue is a go to colours for just about everything and in the Summer I like lighter shades that are happy but also have a clean fresh feel about them, so swimwear is no exception!

I have had my eye on this one for a while and I am finally ordering it.It takes me a while to build up my confidence, so I usually start the season with more basic pieces that I bore off and then look for something more exciting.The colour is perfect as is the plunging neckline and high waisted briefs and again at under $20 it is a real bargain . I find that I like to spend more on my basic swimwear and save on swimwear that is more exciting and impressive but which i will probably not get as much wear out of. So this kind of price point is ideal as it means I can get a few show off pieces without breaking the bank.

The show-off swimsuit

There are two types of swimwear as far as I am concerned , one that is nice and also practical but definitely the your dream swimwear when you imagine yourself on the beach...and there there is the show-off type of swimwear which ensures a show stopping look , as long as you don't move about too much , or shock horror, actually go in the water. Both are necessary , the later definitely gets me more excited!

The Perfect Lace Cover Up

I have been looking for a lace cover up for ages and finally I found the perfect one !It is made out of thick lace like material with a pattern and has beautiful white trimmed ages. I am literally swooning. I ordered it online and although it looked nice in the pics it was stunning when it actually arrived. I wanted it for covering up swimwear but it is too nice just for that so I will be wearing it with my denim cut offs and lace shorts for nice Summer evenings and events. To top it off it is on sale for under  $17!

It is one size but it is not very generous , I would say it would be ok up to a size Medium.

Weekend wish list! The Black Halter Bikini

A  black halter neck bikini is a key piece in your new season wardrobe Just a few days left in May and Summer will have officially arrived . Swimwear is of course top of any wish list at the moment especially if you live in hot country and for those of you already planning your Summer vacation wardrobe. I think it's great to buy into swimwear trends each year as your swimwear is one of your main outfits and you want to show off what a fashionista you are!

Hello, I have to say it is so hot today that I wish I had already sorted out my summer wardrobe as I am kinda wearing a mix at the moment! Swimwear is off course always high on the list and although I used to hate one piece suits I actually really love them now. Off course the fact that they are no longer boooring helps! One of my favourites at the moment is the off the shoulder bathing suit which is great for showing off how on the ball your fashion game is .

The perfect off the shoulder tops

Unless you have been living on another planet , you know that off the shoulder tops are one of the biggest trends at the moment. I like this season take on the more boho version with pretty embroidery and ruffles and the great news is that they are pretty much universally flattering and they are also very feminine in a suggestive but girly way. For those of you , who like me thought that they are only suited to more petite on the top girls let me share my trick. I am a 30D so I have a very small back but my bust is quite full so instead of a strapless bra under the off the shoulder top , which makes the top stick out rather unflatteringly in my opinion , I wear a bandeaux or a bandeaux bikini top that keeps everything in place but makes the overall effect a bit flatter, after all the shoulder is the focus not the boob!

I think this top is so cute and would look great on darker complexions , also it is a nice change from white and the pattern is still super feminine.

Hello, how are you all? I'm sure we are all feeling much happier now the weather is warmer and the days are longer. I know some people prefer winter clothing as it is considered more stylish due to the muted colours and layering options. Myself, I am definitely a Summer clothing girl, I love light airy fabrics, sandals and of course stripes!!
