Hello, thank goodness it's the weekend!I don't know about you but my week has been crazy and I am looking forward to some rest and time with my family. However, there is nothing like a few new goodies to get you in the mood !I am not a big trousers person, I like them on other people to feel like they make me look a bit boring for some reason ( probably all in my head) . I was therefore very happy to come across this amazing pair that will really make a difference to my wardrobe and are anything but boring!
They are cropped and they have ruffles and a high waist...what more could you ask for!

I have also been thinking about my outerwear and found that I am missing a trench style coat so I was chuffed to find a great checked style that will keep me warm as well....and I will look a bit like like Sherlock Holmes ( not sure if that is α good thing or not....but it's a look!)

There use to be a time when I would always wear heels. I even remember trudging through the muddy school field in 12 inch platform boots. I would wear stiletto pointy heels all day standing up in the store I used to work in, and would even wear heels to a beach bar.Sneakers were only for the gym and never to be seen out in public in...NEVER! The LBD has had a makeover!

There is , so they say, nothing as iconic as the LBD ( the little black dress). However, in recent seasons,navy was the new black then grey was the new black and white was the new black....but this season black is the new black and it has come to claim it's throne in the form of the perfect black dress that is nothing, if not original. Forget plain old shifts, think bows and lace and ruffles and see through details that are chic and effortless. Steer clear of Lycra and anything too clingy, this is not the look you want to achieve. Think more Audrey, less Kim K!

This collection will make you rethink occasion dressing!

Family day....babes in the woods!

Today was such a great day, we spent it playing in the woods with our little adventurous A.We found a great spot with a river and after a good meal our little man decided to look for blue crabs in the river.Unfortunately , no crabs but he thought it was a real adventure to cross the river and was very proud of himself , bless him! We have all been so busy that it was a real treat to spend some playful time together and we promised to do more often. Afterall they grow up so quickly and that we should cherish and build as many beautiful memories as possible!

Shopping Saturday, time to get fit!

As the title would imply I have my eye set on some more sporty items in particular a great pair of trainers or sneakers as some call them. Please, do not misunderstand me, these loveliew are not for the gym , and by getting fit I mean looking fit! I am really fed up with the white sneaker trend and lets face it , it is virtually impossible to keep them remotely white after about two weeks and especially in the winter so I want adifferent colour , not black  either. So found my ideal pair, these amazing Nike Air Max shoes in gorgeous deep red.Imagine the possibilities!I have imagined them and so I bought a jacket  to go with them...we will get to that!

The perfect Roll neck!

Roll necks for some reason are difficult for me to master , perhaps because of my proportions. I have a longish neck but a short torso with narrow shoulders and a bust so they tend to not look so great on me. However, putting aside the skinny versions available right now a chunkier looser roll neck actually looks great! and I have found a great one at Reiss in the perfect pink colour to compliment any skin tone and a loose longish fit that flatters almost any shape!
