Freezing Shopping Saturday!

Hello, it's Saturday and it's absolutely freezing here !Unfortunately I will not be painting the night red tonight as I have an awful cold and the only thing I want to do is snuggle up by the fire! Of course, I am not too sick to shop but party outfits are not on my mind....instead I have something a little cozier in mind...

Pom Poms aren't just for Cheerleaders!!

Sometimes I love  a trend and I am not entirely sure why. I definitely am not one for embelishment and clearly prefer simple lines and colours, but everynow a feaky me comes out ! This season I am being tempted by velvet and  faux fur and worst of all Pom Poms!!
I love them , my husband thinks I am mad and my dog keeps biting at my shoes but I absolutely love them ( despite the slighly dodgy looks I get in the Super Market). I am sticking by them and by the looks of things I am in good company. It started of in Summer with the little pom poms ( or is it pom pons??)on sandals and has evolved into big fluffy colourful ones that pop up anywhere!!

They are everywhere and will bring fun and colour to the drab winter months!

How much do I love this girl's style?? She has a quality that is both fresh and modern and she looks like the kind of girl you would like to be your friend.I saw a picture of her on instagram wearing an amazing blazer which seemed familar and it was! The best of Stradivarius...making fashion music!

I have to be honest, I really didn't rate this retailer highly as I considered them  the poor relative to Zara, and their clothing not really apropriate unless you were a teenager.However, I have come to radically change my mind as Stradivarius has come into it's own and has consistently brought out wonderful must have items that have graced many a top blogger in the past few seasons. And this season is no different, Stradivarius has a collection that is both affordable and covetable and their skinny jeans are by far my favourite jeans and they never go baggy...and don't get me started on the shoes!

Occasion Dressing this Fall with Coast and Olivia Palermo

Many people look forward to special occasions in Summer as the weather justifies light airy fabrics , pretty prints and the general mood is more whimsical and carefree. I have to admit though that I love occasionwear in winter . The darker colours and rich fabrics have a theatrical quality about them and a sense of drama that their Summer counterparts are somewhat lacking in.
